We understand the concern our guests may experience in light of the Coronavirus situation. Here at Maison Ito, your health and safety are our number one priority.
We’re paying close attention to the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) for updates about the virus. In the meantime, we want you to know the increased measures we’re taking in our brand new salon to create a safe, healthy environment for you.
In addition to the everyday hygiene, massage table, tools and equipment will be disinfected with increased frequency. Bedsheets are always changed between guests. We’re also making sure to take additional sanitization measures for all our equipment, towels and for door handles. Antibacterial hand gel is available in our welcome area, and we suggest using it before any treatment, or alternatively, washing your hands thoroughly.
The FOPH recommends preventive measures — such as regular hand-washing, coughing in a bent elbow and staying home when sick, etc — to help stop the spread of the virus.
If you feel unwell, we kindly request that you rest up and make another appointment when you’re feeling better. If you need to reschedule a treatment, you can use the link in your confirmation or just call us.
You should know that our facialist Emilie is treating this situation with the utmost seriousness. Handshakes, greeting kisses, and hugs will be avoided.
Your warm smiles, especially at the end of our treatments, will always be welcomed.
We value your loyalty, your health and we thank you for doing your part to keep everyone safe!
Maison Ito's Team
HOW ARE WE KEEPING YOU SAFE AT MAISON ITO?
As the virus keeps spreading, we continue to focus on the safety and health of our guests and staff. We are the following preventative measures in our wellness salon:
✔️ Mask required for guests before reaching the massage room and required for our facialist during your entire visit
✔️ Temperature check with a no-contact thermometer when arriving at the salon
✔️ Hand sanitizers available both at the salon and in the massage room. Mandatory hand washing/sanitizing when arriving at the salon
✔️Bedsheets systematically changed, sleepers, tools, and massage equipment disinfected between guests
✔️A limited number of appointments per day (that allows more time between appointments for cleaning)
✔️ Cleaning and disinfection of all the door handles before/after each guest, payment terminal, hangers, and everyday hygiene with professional products
✔️ If you were feeling unwell before your appointment, do not visit our salon, stay at home, and inform us as early as possible.
✔️ We kindly ask you not to visit the salon if you have experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms, have traveled outside of the country, or been in contact with anyone affected by COVID-19 in the 14 days previous to your appointment.
